Minimal deviation for Shipping Lines

The deviation distance of the port from the main liner route is one of the important parameters in the decision of the shipping line to call a particular port. Port with lesser deviation from the main shipping route will be more competitive then ports with higher deviation.

Connectivity to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor

Government of India is developing 1449 km long Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) that will connect Delhi & Mumbai would be 10 kms away from the Nargol Port site.

Road Connectivity to Port

The site for proposed port at Nargol is located about 30 km away from National Highway-8. It has 6 lane configuration to provide cargo movement from port to hinterland.

Rail Connectivity to Port

The site for the proposed Nargol port is located about 10 km away from Delhi-Mumbai Main Trunk Line of Western Railways.
